<!-- ══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ ⚠️ DRAFT — REVIEW BEFORE PUBLISH.
This one is closer to publishable than the other two, but two things must be verified before it goes live, because both are factual claims: 1. The WCAG conformance level actually achieved (do not claim 2.1 AA until an audit says so — a false accessibility claim is worse than no statement). 2. The physical accessibility of 2240 Madison Avenue. Confirm with the practice: step-free entrance? accessible restroom? accessible parking space? Do not guess. ══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ -->
Radiant Smiles Family & Aesthetic Dentistry wants every patient to be able to use this website and visit our office at 2240 Madison Avenue, Bridgeport. If either one is failing you, we would like to know, and we will fix what we can.
The website
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) (This section is not yet written. It must be completed by the practice's counsel before this page is published — it is a legal document, not copy.). In practice, that means we work to ensure:
- Every image carries a text description for screen-reader users.
- The site can be operated with a keyboard alone, without a mouse.
- Text contrasts sufficiently with its background to be readable.
- Text can be enlarged without the layout breaking.
- Headings and landmarks are structured so a screen reader can navigate the page.
Accessibility is not a box that gets ticked once. Pages change, and things break. If you hit something that does not work, tell us — a specific report ("the appointment form on my phone") is worth more to us than a general one.
The office
NEEDS SIGN-OFF K-20 Claims about the practice — ACCESSIBILITY: entrance, parking space, restroom, rooms [I INVENTED THIS]. Approve as written, or give the correction.
Every line in this section is a factual claim about a physical building, and a wrong one is worse than no claim at all — someone plans a journey around it. So this section stays empty until the practice has confirmed, on site, what is actually true of the entrance, the parking, the restroom and the treatment rooms.
(To be completed by the practice. See the accessibility items on the sign-off sheet.)
There is parking directly at 2240 Madison Avenue.
If you have a mobility, sensory or communication need we should plan around, please call (203) 372-0881 before your visit. Telling us in advance means we can make the visit work rather than improvise on the day.
Tell us where we fall short
Call (203) 372-0881 or email hello@radiantsmilesct.com. Describe what you were trying to do and what stopped you. We will reply, and we will tell you honestly whether and when we can fix it.
