The town line is closer than you think

Bridgeport's North End does not so much end as blend. Drive north up Madison Avenue and the houses do not change, the trees do not change, and at some point a sign tells you that you are in Trumbull.

That geography is the whole reason this page exists. The Westfield Trumbull mall sits about a mile and a half north of our door — closer to this office than a good deal of Trumbull is to Trumbull Center. Madison Avenue itself is a Trumbull street as well as a Bridgeport one; it carries on north and crosses the Merritt Parkway on its own bridge, between the Park Avenue interchange and the Route 111 one.

So if you live in the southern half of Trumbull — Nichols, the Main Street corridor, anywhere below the Merritt — the honest arithmetic is that we are probably the closest dentist to you, and you have been driving past us.

What Trumbull patients tend to come for

Everything, but three things in particular.

Family care that does not split the family. A child's first checkup and a grandparent's crown are the same practice here, with the same dentist and one set of records. Family and general dentistry.

Directions

Getting here from Trumbull

From Trumbull Center (about 10 minutes, roughly 4 miles). Head south on Main Street (Route 111), past the Westfield Trumbull mall. Continue south as Main Street runs down into Bridgeport's North End, then cut west to Madison Avenue. We are at 2240, with parking at the building.

From the Nichols and Huntington Turnpike side. Come south on Huntington Turnpike into the North End and pick up Madison Avenue. This is the back way and it avoids Main Street entirely.

From the Merritt Parkway. Take the Park Avenue exit (long signed as Exit 47, renumbered to Exit 29 in the state's move to mile-based numbering — the old number is still posted underneath). Head south on Park Avenue, then east onto Madison Avenue. The Route 111 exit by the mall works equally well.

A note worth having: the exit numbers on both the Merritt and Route 8 were renumbered. Trust the road name on the sign, not the number you have used for thirty years.
